This privacy policy explains the processing of personal data when you visit 2eurocoins.app. It applies to the website, including its subpages and the direct links offered there. A separate app privacy policy applies to the mobile app “2 Euro Commemorative Coins”.

When you use the website for information purposes only, your browser sends technically necessary data to the web server. We process this data to provide the website technically, maintain its security and stability, and investigate attacks or misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a secure and functional internet presence.

The website is available through HTTPS. This encrypts the transmission between your browser and the web server.

The website is hosted by OLShop AG, Germany. The hosting provider processes the technical access data described in section 3 where this is necessary for operating and securing the website. Where the hosting provider processes personal data on our behalf, this is governed by the applicable data-protection arrangements.

Server log data is retained only for as long as necessary for technical troubleshooting, the prevention and investigation of misuse, and compliance with legal obligations. Longer retention may be necessary in individual cases when a specific security or legal incident is being investigated.

5. No integrated analytics, advertising or third-party trackers

In the version of this website described here, no analytics or advertising trackers are integrated when a page is loaded. In particular, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Meta Pixel and comparable tracking services are not loaded. External web fonts, embedded videos, maps, social-media feeds and other third-party content are also not loaded automatically.

Cookie notice: According to the reviewed version of the website, no own cookies are set and no information is stored in or accessed from the browser to analyse visitors or deliver advertising. For that reason, no cookie or consent banner is currently displayed. A banner where no consent-requiring processing takes place would not be required and could be misleading.

If consent-requiring cookies, local storage, tracking, external content or a comparable service are added in the future, this policy will be updated before activation. Where required, an equally designed consent banner with a reject option will be shown before information is stored or accessed.

7. External links, PDF guides and sharing buttons

The website contains ordinary external links. These include links to Google Play, the external Euro Imperium web shop, and WhatsApp, Facebook and X. The sharing buttons in the footer are not embedded social-media plugins. Merely opening this website does not establish a connection to any of those providers through these links.

Only when you actively click an external link or sharing button is the destination opened in a new tab or in your email application. From that point, the relevant provider processes data under its own privacy information. Depending on your browser settings, referrer information may be transmitted when you move to an external site.

The two user guides are supplied as PDF files under this website. No external service is used to embed or display the PDF files. Their display after opening is governed by your browser or the PDF software you use.

8. Web shop and Google Play

The website itself does not sell physical coins and does not process payment data. Links to physical coin items take you to the external Euro Imperium web shop. The web shop’s privacy information and legal notices apply there. Dionysios Ziaras operates both the app and the web shop; nevertheless, the offers are provided separately according to their respective functions.

A link to Google Play takes you to a Google service. Merely providing the link does not give the website payment data or complete payment information from Google Play. Google is responsible for processing after you move to Google Play.

9. Recipients and international data transfers

During a normal page visit, the hosting provider based in Germany processes the technically necessary data. The website does not automatically load content from third parties. If you voluntarily activate an external link or sharing button, the relevant destination provider carries out further processing. That provider may process data outside the European Union. Details can be found in the destination provider’s privacy information.

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right of access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR.
